Amanda Gorman (born 1998) is an American poet and activist who became the youngest inaugural poet in U.S. history when she delivered "The Hill We Climb" at President Biden's 2021 inauguration. A 2020 Harvard graduate and 2017 National Youth Poet Laureate, she publishes poetry and children's books that often address civic engagement and social themes.
