Amanda Lindhout

Amanda Lindhout is a Canadian journalist, humanitarian and author who was abducted in Somalia in 2008 and held for 15 months before her release. She founded the Global Enrichment Foundation, wrote the memoir 'A House in the Sky', and works as a public speaker and advocate for humanitarian causes.
