Amélie Nothomb

Amélie Nothomb (born 9 July 1967 in Kobe, Japan) is a Belgian francophone novelist who writes in French. She debuted with Hygiène de l'assassin (1992) and has published over thirty novels, noted for concise prose and recurring examinations of identity and human relationships.
