Chris Hani
Chris Hani (1942–1993) was a South African anti-apartheid leader, head of the South African Communist Party and chief of staff of Umkhonto we Sizwe, the African National Congress's armed wing. He advocated multiracial solidarity and social justice; his assassination in 1993 was a pivotal moment in South Africa's transition to democracy.
