Don Marquis

Don Marquis (1878–1937) was an American humorist, journalist and poet best known for creating the characters Archy and Mehitabel and for his newspaper columns. He wrote aphorisms and satirical verse, including the famous line 'Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.'
