Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer

Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer (1904–1967) was an American theoretical physicist who directed the Los Alamos Laboratory and led the scientific work of the Manhattan Project that developed the first nuclear weapons. He made foundational contributions to quantum mechanics and later chaired the Atomic Energy Commission's General Advisory Committee.
