Hippocrates
Hippocrates of Kos (c. 460–370 BCE) was an ancient Greek physician often called the "Father of Medicine" and associated with the Hippocratic Corpus and the Hippocratic Oath. The proverb "To do nothing is sometimes a good remedy" expresses a principle of therapeutic restraint and careful clinical observation.
