Jean Vanier
Jean Vanier (1928–2019) was a Canadian Catholic philosopher, theologian, and humanitarian who founded L'Arche in 1964 to create communities for people with intellectual disabilities. He authored numerous books and received international recognition, though posthumous investigations revealed he had engaged in sexual and emotional abuse of several women.
