Joy Harjo

Joy Harjo (born 1951) is a Muscogee (Creek) Nation poet, musician, and author from the United States. She served as the U.S. Poet Laureate (2019–2022), has published multiple poetry collections and the memoir Crazy Brave, and often incorporates Indigenous themes and music into her work.
