Kazuo Ishiguro (born 1954 in Nagasaki, Japan) is a British novelist and screenwriter who relocated to the United Kingdom as a child. He won the 2017 Nobel Prize in Literature and is best known for novels such as The Remains of the Day and Never Let Me Go.
