Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889–1951) was an Austrian-British philosopher whose work reshaped analytic philosophy, especially the philosophy of language, logic, and mind. His major works include Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus and Philosophical Investigations; he taught at Cambridge and influenced twentieth-century philosophy.
