Lytton
Edward Bulwer-Lytton (1803–1873) was an English novelist, playwright, and politician who served in Parliament and became 1st Baron Lytton. He coined the phrase 'The pen is mightier than the sword' in his 1839 play Richelieu, expressing literature's power over force.
