Maya Lin
Maya Lin (born 1959) is an American artist and designer known for integrating architecture, landscape, and sculpture. She gained prominence after winning the 1981 design competition for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., and continues to create site-specific installations and public works.
