Phylicia Rashad

Phylicia Rashad (born June 19, 1948) is an American actress, singer, and stage director best known for portraying Claire Huxtable on the television series The Cosby Show. She has had a long career in theater and television and won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play in 2004 for A Raisin in the Sun.
