Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama

Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama, is the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism and was born in 1935 in Taktser, Tibet. He has led the Tibetan government-in-exile, received the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize, and advocates for compassion, nonviolence, human rights, and interfaith dialogue.
