Wallace Stevens
Wallace Stevens (1879–1955) was an American modernist poet and insurance executive in Hartford whose work explored imagination, reality, and the tensions of modern life. He published major collections including Harmonium and won the 1955 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry for The Collected Poems of Wallace Stevens.
